New Co-ordinating Editor of Haematological Malignancies

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Lise Estcourt as the new Co-ordinating Editor of Haematological Malignancies. Dr Lise Estcourt Lise is a consultant haematologist with NHS Blood and Transplant and a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Transfusion Medicine at the University of Oxford. She graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in medicine.  She was awarded a prize for her doctoral research from Oxford University. She also holds an MA in Medical Ethics and Law from Keele University and an MSc in Clinical Trials from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She is Director of NHS Blood and Transplant Clinical Trials Unit, Clinical Tutor for NHS Blood and Transplant, and Clinical Lead for the National Comparative Audit in Blood Transfusion. She has already been an editor for the Cochrane Haematological Malignancies Group, as well as working as an associate editor for Transfusion Medicine and Systematic Reviews. She performs Cochrane and non-Cochrane systematic reviews in transfusion medicine in association with the Systematic Reviews Initiative in Oxford. She has authored or co-authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications, as well as book chapters, and other publications. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists and member of the Royal College of Physicians, UK.
